June is Innovation month in New England and in the spirit of fostering innovation, I have been reading up some books and sharing those ideas. Vikram Kumar, CTO of at Pixily, shared a video interview of Scott Anthony, the author of Silver Lining. There are some simple and yet powerful ideas recommended in the book. Take a look at the video:

I like some of Scott's points, particularly around how to innovate intelligently, and how he suggests getting other people to help you with your innovation strategy. Getting customers to help is a really good idea. I've seen several startups that have gotten customers to fund HUGE amounts of product development – one over $500,000 worth.
I bet most startups don't have problems "imposing scarcity" on the innovation process!
